The month-long program will feature new work by Gommaar Gilliams, Roger Raveel, and Devan Shimoyama, alongside important secondary-market works by Lynne Drexler and François-Xavier Lalanne, photographs by Harry Benson, and select works by twentieth-century modern masters.

A new rotation each week will bring together emerging, contemporary, and modern-classic works in an evolving exhibition experience.

The opening rotation pairs two generations of Belgian art, presenting Gommaar Gilliams’ large-scale, tactile dreamscapes alongside structural works by the late Roger Raveel. Together, the works trace a path from Raveel’s geometric deconstruction of everyday life to Gilliams’ lyrical contemporary vision.

The residency coincides with De Buck Gallery’s participation in The Armory Show’s Focus Sector, where the gallery will present work by Gommaar Gilliams.  They will be located at Booth 141 September 24 – 27.
